85+ checks,
ranked and ready to fix

Most SEO tools scatter their findings across tabs and panels. You find a schema error in one place, a redirect issue in another, a missing hreflang somewhere else. By the time you've checked everything, you've lost track of what actually matters.

The Issues Tab changes that. Results from 85+ checks surface in a single list, sorted by how much it matters — Critical first, then Warnings, then Info. Each issue includes a plain-English explanation of why it matters and a concrete fix, not just a flag.

A live badge updates in real time as server probes complete in the background, so your count is always accurate. And a direct "View in [Tab] →" link takes you straight to the relevant panel for deeper investigation — no hunting required.

Know what to fix first

Not all SEO issues are equal. SEO Pulse assigns every issue a severity level so you can triage intelligently.

Critical
Issues that directly prevent indexing, split equity, or signal serious technical problems. Fix these first — they have the most impact on how search engines read and rank your page.
Noindex directive present
Canonical pointing to different URL
Blocked by robots.txt
Server returns 200 for missing pages
Checkout page is indexable
Warning
Issues that hurt crawlability, ranking signals, or user experience but aren't immediately catastrophic. Worth fixing in your next technical audit cycle.
Title or description is JS-rendered
HTTPS redirect uses 302
Images not lazy loaded
Hreflang tags outside <head>
Internal links via /collections/all/
Info
Best practice recommendations and contextual signals. Not urgent, but worth knowing. Often page-type-specific checks or schema improvements that build long-term authority.
Missing Article schema on blog post
Homepage missing Organisation schema
Blog post has zero internal links
3 render-blocking scripts in <head>
Possible thank-you page detected

Common questions

What is the Issues Tab in SEO Pulse? +
The Issues Tab is a centralised panel that collects results from 85+ checks and presents them in one ranked list — Critical, Warning, and Info. Each issue includes a plain-English explanation of why it matters and a concrete fix suggestion, so you know exactly what to do without needing to research each problem separately.
How many SEO checks does the Issues Tab run? +
85+ distinct checks across 24 categories including indexability, canonicals, title and meta description, headings, images, links, schema, hreflang, server health, redirects, sitemaps, security, scripts, page type, and more. Some categories run dynamic checks — for example, hreflang issues loop per tag, so a page with 10 hreflang errors will surface 10 individual issues.
Does the Issues Tab update in real time? +
Yes. Server probes (404 handling, www redirect, HTTPS enforcement, etc.) run in the background after the initial DOM audit completes. The Issues badge count updates live as each probe finishes — you don't need to re-click or refresh to get an accurate count.
What are page-type checks? +
SEO Pulse automatically detects whether you're on a product page, category page, blog post, homepage, or transactional page — using schema.org signals, CMS body classes, URL patterns, and DOM structure. It then surfaces issues that are only relevant to that page type. A Shopify category page gets different checks than a WordPress blog post. You can disable page type checks in Settings if needed.
Can I filter the Issues list? +
Yes. Click any health card (Critical, Warnings, Info, or Page Type) to filter the list to that severity. Use the filter pills to filter by category — Indexability, Server, Images, Schema, and so on. A sort button lets you order by severity or category. All filters combine so you can do things like "show only Critical issues in the Server category."
Can I export the Issues Tab results? +
Yes. Click the Export button in the Issues Tab filter row to download a standalone HTML report. It includes a summary header with the audited URL and timestamp, severity cards showing total counts, and a full table with Severity, Category, Issue, Detail, and Fix columns — sorted Critical first. No login, no upload, no account required. Works entirely offline once generated.
Is the Issues Tab free? +
Yes — completely free. All 85+ checks, the export feature, page type detection, and everything else in SEO Pulse is free with no premium tier. Install from the Chrome Web Store — no account or sign-up required.
