SEO Pulse Feature

GSC data, right where
you're already auditing

SEO Pulse reads your Google Search Console performance data directly from the GSC interface — no API keys, no extra login. On-page audit and GSC data in one place.

No API. No extra login.
Just GSC data in context.

Most SEO extensions that show GSC data require you to authenticate with Google's API — setting up OAuth, granting permissions, and trusting a third party with your Search Console access.

SEO Pulse works differently. It reads data directly from the Google Search Console interface you already have open in your browser. When you have GSC open, SEO Pulse's content script reads the performance data from the page — no API authentication, no separate login, no data stored anywhere.

This means your GSC data never leaves your browser session. SEO Pulse has no access to your Google account credentials and cannot access GSC data when you're not viewing it.

The result: clicks, impressions, average position, and top queries for any page, sitting alongside your full on-page SEO audit — without switching tabs.

What's included

📈
Clicks, impressions, CTR, position
The four core GSC performance metrics displayed in the SEO Pulse panel — for the current page or for the full property, depending on what you have open in GSC.
🔑
Top queries
The queries driving traffic to the current page shown inline alongside your audit data. Useful for comparing what you're ranking for against what your on-page optimisation targets.
🔒
No API authentication
Data is read from the GSC interface you have open — not via an API. No OAuth setup, no permissions to grant, no third-party access to your Google account.
Privacy preserving
🔗
Deep links to GSC
Direct links from the SEO Pulse panel open the relevant GSC report for the current page with the correct property and URL pre-selected — no manual navigation.
No extra setup
If you have Google Search Console open in Chrome with SEO Pulse installed, the integration works automatically. No configuration, no tokens, no connection flow to complete.
🛡️
Data stays in your browser
GSC data is read from the page in your session and displayed in the popup. It is never transmitted to SEO Pulse servers — because there are no SEO Pulse servers.

Common questions

How does SEO Pulse integrate with Google Search Console? +
SEO Pulse reads data from the Google Search Console interface you already have open in Chrome. When you open GSC, SEO Pulse's content script reads the performance data displayed on the page. No API authentication is required — just have GSC open in a Chrome tab alongside the page you're auditing.
Does SEO Pulse store my Google Search Console data? +
No. SEO Pulse reads GSC data directly from the interface you have open in your browser and displays it in the popup. It does not store, transmit, or have persistent access to your GSC data. When you close the GSC tab or end your session, the data is gone.
Do I need a Google Search Console account to use SEO Pulse? +
No. All other SEO Pulse features — on-page audit, Issues Tab, schema validation, redirect checker, AI bot access, Core Web Vitals, and more — work without any Google account. GSC integration is an optional enhancement for users who already have GSC access for the sites they're auditing.
Why is the GSC tab showing no data? +
The GSC integration requires Google Search Console to be open in another Chrome tab and displaying data for the property. If you don't have GSC open, or if the property you have open doesn't include the page you're auditing, the GSC tab in SEO Pulse will show no data. You also need to be logged into a Google account that has access to the Search Console property.
